Dr. Sheila Sivam is a Sleep Specialist who completed her medical training in Nova Scotia, Canada, followed by specialist training in Boston, Massachusetts, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. In Sydney, she fulfilled her Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. She runs the Narcolepsy and Hypersomnolence Clinics at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research and College Street Specialists in Darlinghurst. Dr. Sivam is also a member of the Australasian Sleep Association (ASA) Medicines Subcommittee, working to improve access to first‑line medications and research opportunities for narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia.
