Professor Brendon Yee is a Staff Specialist in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine and the Medical Director of Respiratory Failure Services at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He also serves as a consultant for Rural Outreach Services in Sleep and Respiratory Medicine in Central Western NSW, was the Chair of the Professional Standards Committee of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, and sits on the Clinical Committee of the Australasian Sleep Association.
He graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand, completed his sleep fellowship in Wellington and at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and earned a PhD researching the metabolic effects of sleep apnea and weight loss. He is a former Young Investigator Award winner of the Australasian Sleep Association.
